To receive the CompTIA A+ certification, you must pass two exams; Core 1 (220-1001) and Core 2 (220-1002).
- The 220-1001 exam covers PC hardware and peripherals, mobile device hardware, networking, and troubleshooting hardware and network connectivity issues.
- The 220-1002 exam covers installing and configuring operating systems including Windows, iOS, Android, Apple OS X, and Linux. It also addresses security, the fundamentals of cloud computing, and operational procedures.
Prerequisites
- No prerequisites but 9-12 months experience recommended.
